What every other tuner shows you is a needle. Suonu draws the last two seconds of pitch instead, so instability is visible rather than hidden — and stillness becomes the signal you are waiting for.

It refuses to guess

Silence, a room that is too noisy and a note too quiet to measure all report no reading rather than a number. And if what you played is more than a semitone from any string in your tuning, the app names the note it heard and shows no cent figure, no arrow and no settled state.

Pointing an arrow at the wrong string is how a string gets over-tightened. The app states what it hears; it does not instruct you toward a target you did not mean.
